The second method takes into account the names of both the partners in the relationship. Here too, numerology is employed. According to certain numerological principles, each alphabet corresponds to a number. The numbers corresponding to the alphabets of the name is totaled to a single digit, and the data is analyzed.

For example: Mary Jane Smith would be 4 + 1 + 9 + 7 ('Mary') + 1 + 1 + 5 + 5 ('Jane') + 1 + 4 + 9 + 2 + 8 ('Smith') = 57 and 5 + 7 = 12 and 1 + 2 = 3. So the numerological total of the name 'Mary Jane Smith' is 3; and that name number is analyzed along with the name number for her partner. The love compatibility analysis is thus conducted on this basis.

The third method uses a combination of all of these methods mentioned. The fourth method, which is actually very accurate, and which you may not get *free* on many websites; uses the name and date of birth, along with your time and place of birth.

With this data, the moon sign is ascertained based on your birth time and the latitude and longitude of your place of birth. Along with the moon sign, the placement of other planets (and most importantly Venus) is also ascertained in what is called a natal chart.
